We were just about to begin a major remodel of our entire home and had never worked with a designer before. What a wonderful surprise! Robineve selected the paint colors for the whole house; every single light fixture was replaced with something special; all the granite and marble surfaces and backsplash tiles for the kitchen and the bathrooms; mirrors, carpeting. Everything! And it’s all so contemporary and cool. Robineve made all the difference between us just doing a so-so, mainstream, remodel and one that looks and feels very special to us and to all our friends who visit. We had heard about Robineve and hired her to do her special “Universal Design Walk-Through” when we were trying to decide if we would stay in our multi-storied home; we knew that, to stay, we would have to do extensive remodeling to make it safer for my husband. Robineve listened very carefully to what was most important to each of us, came up with unique and creative ideas, and left us with a thoughtfully outlined plan. A year later, we called her back and said, “Let’s do it!” Robineve recommended a fantastic contractor and oversaw the remodel of our master bath (circa 1985), creation of an elevator landing on the bedroom level, and transformation of a basement room into a bright, cozy, and functional office that faces a ‘secret garden’. Her eye for detail is amazing! I love the serene furnishings in our bedroom, and the colorful pieces in our office and sunroom. My elderly parents relocated from their home of 30+ years to a 2-room apartment in a senior facility. With her exquisite taste, and sensitivity regarding the special needs of senior citizens, Robineve transformed a sterile environment into a stunning, warm, elegant-yet-homey apartment.
